"Tessa's A Nut" Banana Nut Cake (Bread)
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large or 3 small ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix wet ingredients.
  2. Butter, eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  3. Mix dry ingredients.
  4. Flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix together.
  6. Add smashed bananas.
  7. Fold in nuts.
  8. Can pour into a greased loaf pan, cake pan, or muffin tin with liners.
  9. Bake at 350* til inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  10. For loaf pan I dropped oven temp to 325* once the top started to brown.
