Wild Rice Casserole

  • 2 boxes Uncle Ben's Wild and Brown Rice Mix with Mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 sm. package slivered almonds
  • 1 sm. can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/5 c. soy sauce
  1. Cook rice according to directions on box. Saute celery in butter until tender. Mix all ingredients and heat in oven at 350 for 25 minutes or in microwave for about 5 minutes.
  2. Hint: You can add cooked and shredded chicken (or turkey) and make a one dish meal!
