Walker's Cheezey Taco Dip
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 8oz. block of cream cheese
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 jar of medium hot salsa
- 1 16 oz. bag shredded cheddar (or taco flavored) cheese
DIRECTIONS
- preheat oven to 350.
- Prepare ground beef with seasoning according to taco seasoning directions.
- Layer cream cheese, beans and salsa in 9 by 9 glass baking dish.
- Pour in prepared ground beef.
- Cover with shredded cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve with corn chips.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
Well...my mom thought of this recipe and I made it for my soccer banquet. This girl from the team kept eating and eating the dip until I went up to her and told her I made it. She pretneded to throw up and ran away. But a while later I saw her back at the dish dipping more chips in for the last drop.
