Tuscan Espresso BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup espresso
  • 2 tblspns olive oil
  • 2 tblspns minced garlic
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup and espresso.
  2. Saute the garlic in the olive oil. Cook over low heat for about 1 minute or until it turns golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and add the honey mixture.
  4. Simmer the honey mixture in a saucepan for about 15 minutes to blend the flavors.
I saw this sauce on the TV show NapaStyle and now it's the only sauce I use for my baby back ribs. I also use it as a dipping sauce for my Alaskan King Crab legs.
