Spinach Salad Dressing
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash pepper
  • spinach (washed)
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs (sliced)
  1. Combine all ingredients except eggs in a large bowl. Add spinach. Pour small amounts of dressing over spinach till desired taste is reached. Place salad in serving bowl and add eggs to top of salad. Sprinkle eggs with a little paprika for color. (Keep remaining dressing in a sealed container in refrigerator for a short time.)
  2. If wanted, you can add bacon, mushrooms and bean sprouts.
