Sour cream muffins
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and put liners into muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Melt butter and in a small bowl whisk together with sour cream, egg, and vanilla.
- Stir butter mixture and whatever mix in you want to go with the muffins (chocolate chips, blueberries, walnuts, bananas, etc...) into flour mixture until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup evenly and bake in middle of oven until golden and toothpick comes out clean - appoximately 20 minutes.
