Shortbread

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 cups flour
  • 11/4 cup sugar
  • 1 lb butter (not margarine)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix all ingredients with fingers and pat into 2 cookie sheets (ungreased)
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes or until slightly browned.
  3. Cut into triangles while warm.
