Seasame Seared Tuna

- * 1 ahi tuna steak (about an 1-2 inches thick)
- * 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- * 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- * 1 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- * 1 ahi tuna steak (about an 1-2 inches thick)
- * 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- * 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- * 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1. heat a grill pan, grill or fry pan to about medium-high heat
- 2. spread sesame seeds on a plate
- 3. put tuna in the sesame seeds and coat all sides of the tuna, add more sesame seeds if needed
- 4. sprinkle other seasonings all over tuna
- 5. place tuna on hot pan and leave sit for about 2-3 minutes
- 6. flip tuna and let sear for another 2-3 minutes
- 7. turn tuna onto pan to sear rest of sides (about 10 seconds each)
- 8. serve with wasabi paste and soy sauce
