Schezhuan Fried Rice
INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1 small bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 small carrot (diced)
  • 1/2 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 green beans
  • 2 green onions (chopped) (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp schezhuan sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Cook the rice.
  2. 2. In a wok, saute the oil and garlic for a minute.
  3. 3. Add the onions to the mix and saute for a minute.
  4. 4. Add the green beans and saute for another minute.
  5. 5. Add the corn, bell pepper, carrot, green onions and cabbage.
  6. 6. Stir in the salt and black pepper. Continuing stirring for a minute.
  7. 7. Add the rice, soy sauce, vinegar and shezhuan sauce.
  8. 8. Mix well.
  9. 9. Slow cook for 5 minutes.
  10. 10. Serve hot!
