Sally's New England Noodle & Clam Chowder

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbls butter
  • 2 tbls chopped celery
  • 2 tbls chopped onion
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 envelope noodle soup
  • 1 - 10 1/2 oz can minced clams with liquid
  • 1 cup light cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt butter in pan. saute onions and celery.
  2. Stir in water, soup mix, clam liquid and 1/2 of the clams; bring to a boil. Cook 5 -7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in remaining clams and cream
