Rocky Road Cake

- Group 1:
- 2 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Group 2:
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/2 c. oleo
- Group 3:
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- Group 4:
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. buttermilk
- Group 5:
- powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
DIRECTIONS
- Sift together ingredients in Group 1. In a saucepan, bring Group 2 to a boil. Pour over Group 1 and beat until smooth. Add Group 3 to the mixture and bake at 400 degrees for 16 minutes in 11"x16" pan.
- Bring Group 4 to a boil in saucepan. Add Group 5 and frost cake immediately.
- Alternate: Add chopped pecans to Group 5.
