Roasted Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  1. Place a baking sheet in the oven and heat to 500° F.
  2. Remove the stems and any loose leaves from the brussels sprouts. Split the sprouts in half down the middle of the stem.
  3. Toss the sprouts in a bowl and mix with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Olive oil spray can also be handy here to ensure the seasoning is evenly mixed throughout.
  4. Carefully remove the hot baking sheet from the oven and place the brussels sprouts onto the sheet. Bake the sizzling sprouts for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove the sprouts from the oven, toss into a bowl, and mix with balsamic vinegar.
