  • 1 c grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 c half & half
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 med. onion chopped
  • dash of nutmeg
  • salt 7 pepper to taste
  • 9" pie shell
  1. Saute onions in butter. set aside. Bake pie shell until it has some coior (not brown). Beat eggs lightly in bowl: mix in rest of ingredients' Pour in pie shell' place sheil on larger cookie sheet to catch over flow. Bake at 350' for 1/2 hour: .Until golden. Quiche is done when knife comes out clean from testlng it. you can add ham. bacon. or spinach. etc.
