Pulled Pork

INGREDIENTS
  • 6-8 lbs of pork shoulder
  • 3 cloves garlic - chopped
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1T hickory smoke (optional)
  • BBQ sauce of choice - 1-2 bottles (your choice dependingh on how 'saucy' you like things)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place pork in crock pot with chopped garlic.
  2. Add water & hickory smoke.
  3. Put on high for ~8 hours.
  4. Once cooked- remove meat from crock pot & drain jucie/ water.
  5. Shred meat & add back to crock pot.
  6. Add BBQ sauce & let cook for 10-15 more minutes.

My family LOVES this recipe. The meat just melts in your mouth. I like to serve with Mac & Cheese & corn bread.
