Puddin' Fruit Salad

  • 2 (20 oz) cans pineapple chunks, undrained
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin orange sections, drained
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and set aside
  • 2 cups marshmellows
  • 3 large bananas, peeled and sliced 1 cup grapes
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 (3-3/4 oz) box vanilla instant pudding mix
  1. Soak marshmellows in cherry juice. set aside. Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup juice. Combine pineapple, remaining fruit and pecans in a large bowl; Drain marshmellows, adding cherry juice to pineapple juice. Add marshmellows to fruit. toss gently. Combine pudding and reserved pineapple/cherry juice in a mixing bowl. Beat on high speed of electric mixer 1 minute. Pour pudding mixture over fruit and pecans; toss gently.
