  • 12 graham crackers (4 3/4 by 2 1/2 inches)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
  1. Line a 15-by-10-by-1-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil. Break graham crackers at indentations; place in a single layer in pan.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar.
  3. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat; boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat; add nuts.
  5. Pour over crackers.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Let stand for 2–3 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
  8. Yield: 4 dozen
