- 2 3/4 cups of sugar
- 1 1/4 cups soft butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup evaporated milk
DIRECTIONS
- heat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour a loaf pan. Beat sugar, butter eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl on low speed-scraping bowl-for 30 seconds. Beat on high speed for 5 minutes.
- Combine Flour, baking powder and salt. Add in alternately with milk beating on low speed.
- Bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 70 to 80 minutes. cool 20 minutes before removing from pan.
