Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. peanut butter chips
  1. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy in large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; Then, blend into creamed mixture. Stir in peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons full onto ungreased cookie sheet, or chill until firm enough to handle and shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool one minute before removing from cookie sheet.
