Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. quick oats
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (12oz) pkg. butterscotch chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream shortening and sugars.
  2. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir in dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in oats, nuts and butterscotch chips.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork a little.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
