No Peanut Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 soft medjool dates pitted
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove
  • pinch of sea salt
  • cayenne pepper or chipotle chili powder to reach your level of heat
  1. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
  2. Thin to desired consistency with water.
  3. If you are not going to use all of the sauce within 3 days - freeze in a ice cube tray - store in a zip lock bag in your freezer.
