Mushroom French Bread
INGREDIENTS

- 1 loaf french bread
- 1 large package shredded swiss cheese
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's season salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
- Place french bread on a long sheet of foil so that the ends of the foil will meet at the center of the bread.
- Cut an "X" pattern from end to end but only half way through the bread.
- Spread the cuts apart and stuff with the swiss cheese (the more the merrier).
- In a saucepan - melt butter, add mushrooms, season salt, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder and soup mix.
- Heat on low and stir well until combined.
- Spoon butter mixture over the cheese, seal in foil, place on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
- Cut into strips and enjoy : )
