Monster Cookies
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 lbs. brown sugar
  • 4 c. white sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 lb. butter
  • 3 lbs. peanut butter
  • 18 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 lb. chocolate chips
  • 1 lb. chocolate M&M's
  1. Cream butter & peanut butter; add sugars and eggs, mixing well. Mix in vanilla & baking soda. Stir in oatmeal, then chocolate chips and M&M's.
  2. Roll into balls (I usually make about 1 1/2 to 2-inch); place on baking sheet. Press lightly with fingers to flatten slightly.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
I had no idea what these were until a friend and I made them while we were still in high school. Apparently they are quite popular in the town that I live in, who knew??? Before I moved there, I was clueless. They are awesome, and I am so glad that I found out about them.
