Michelle Losey's Fried Apples (or Pears, Cherries or mix)

INGREDIENTS
- Cortland apples
- Granny Smith apples
- Water
- Salt
- Butter melted
- White sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Make in batches if you have a large family
- For each batch:
- Cut apples in bite size chunks
- Put in large skillet
- Pour about 1 TBS of melted butter over apples
- Add about 1/4- 1/3 cup water to pan
- Lightly salt
- Lightly sprinkle sugar over apples
- Let water boil out and then let them cook in butter 'till soft
- Stir and flip over to get all sides done
- Add more butter if needed
