Mashed Potato Dogs
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 28

- Preparation Time: 10
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 frankfurters or weiners
- 2/3 cup Lime Marinade
- cheese slices
- spinach leaves
DIRECTIONS
- Marinate the hot dogs for 30 minutes, in the refrigerator, and heat the oven
- to 355 f.
- Bake the hot dogs for 28 minutes; while they are sitting on the pan,
- open the buns and place in them the cheese, some mashed potatoes
- and some spinach leaves. .
- Place hot dog on top of the potatoes in the buns, and fold closed. *
- tip: They're good right of of the refig, too!
- Yes, they could be made with a tofu version of the dogs.

RECIPE BACKSTORY
I had a very good Bacon Western Hot Dog at the Dog House, Wednsday.
Then in thinking about how much I like mashed potatoes and needed to do soemthing, with some in the refrigerator, I thought, why not put them in a hotdog bun?. Well, i couldn't find a recipe for them on line, so I created one.
They're not at all rich nor disgusting.
