INGREDIENTS
  • Yeast mixture:
  • 2 envelopes yeast
  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Crust:
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
  • 6 1/2-7 cups flour
  • Topping:
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon dry oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella
  • 8 oz. Muenster, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz. pepperoni
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix yeast mixture and let yeast activate.
  2. Mix crust ingredients with the yeast mixture. This makes a sticky dough.
  3. Spray jelly roll pan with Pam and sprinkle with cornmeal. Pat dough in the pan and let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Partially bake in the oven - this dough is very thick and works better if it is partially baked.
  5. Top the crust with the topping ingredients. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is nicely melted and crust is done.
  6. (If you want a thinner crust, pat dough into 2 cookie sheets or pizza pans.)
