Killer Dark Chocolate Thins
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup Dutch process cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter @ room temp.
- 2 cups sugar (*plus extra for dipping)
- 2 eggs @ room temp.
- 2 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees & line baking sheets with parchment.
- Cream butter & sugar until light; add vanilla. Whisk dry ingredients together, add to creamed mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Cover and chill for one hour until firm.
- Roll into 1" balls; roll in sugar.
- Bake on parchment-lined sheets 8-12 minutes or until firm.
- Cool on pan 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
