- 4 oz. green chilies, diced
- 1/4 lb. butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 lb. jack cheese, grated
- 2 loaves French bread, small diameter
- Parsley sprigs
DIRECTIONS
- In medium bowl, mix chilies, butter, mayonnaise and cheese until well blended.
- Slice French bread into thin slices and spread amply with the cheese mixture.
- Make sure to completely cover the bread. Put bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet in preheated broiler and broil about 5 to 10 minutes until spread is bubbly.
- Serve on large serving plate garnished with parsley sprigs.
