Italian Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lbs. meat: 1/2 lb. beef, 1/2 lb. veal, 1/2 lb. pork
- 2 eggs, beat well
- 1/2 c. grated Italian cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 3 tbsp. chopped parsley, fresh
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 chopped clove garlic or more
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients, using hands shape lightly into 2 inch balls. Saute in 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 chopped onion. Remove onion and brown meatballs on all sides, about 20 minutes. Add to prepared sauce for 1/2 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
