Ice Cream in a Bag

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • 1/2 cup milk, cream, or half and half
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • A splash of vanilla extract or chocolate or strawberry syrup make good additions to flavor the ice cream.
  • Ice
  • 8 tbls rock salt (you can use regular salt)
  1. In a small ziploc bag add milk product and sugar, and flavoring if you desire.
  2. Seal bag.
  3. In a large gallon ziploc bag put in some ice - at Least 2 cups. Add in 8 tbsp salt (rock salt works best). Place small bag with ice cream mix into the large one. Zip the large one and shake and mix until the cream mixture turns to ice cream.
  4. Keep shaking and squeezing; it may take a while but it will turn to ice cream.
