• 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • 5-8 pieces of ice
  1. Puree chickpeas in the food processor until they become powder-like.
  2. Add remaining of the ingredients for 4-5 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides from time to time.
  3. If hummus is looking grainy, add an ice cubes, 2 at a time, to help smoothen out the mixture until your desired texture.
  4. Serve in a bowl, and garnish with olive oil and parsley. Serve alongside pita bread, crackers, veggies, and more!
