Hot Pork Rind Cornbread
  • 1 cup hot pork rinds, crushed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons bacon dripping
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Mix pork rinds to water
  2. Add bacon drippings to cast iron skillet and heat in oven.
  3. Meanwhile, add cornmeal and salt to mixture, stirring well. Pour into hot pan, place in oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for additional 30 to 45 minutes.
