Homemade Graham Crackers
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2-1/2 cup graham flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sweet milk
  1. Cream shortening and sugar. Sift the dry ingredients and add alternately to creamed mixture with the milk. This makes a stiff dough. Roll out thin and cut into squares. Prick a few time with a fork and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 375 for 10 minutes or until brown. Watch carefully. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar as an option.
