- dried thyme
- bay leaves
- rosemary
- summer savory
- lavender
- cloves
- orange zest
DIRECTIONS
- Combine ONE PART EACH of the above ingredients. Mix well, and store in an airtight container, away from heat and light. If you use whole spices, place these in a cheesecloth bag, tie, and simply drop into soups and stews. Remove when the recipe is done. Also good on meats as a seasoning.
- Another method is to grind them up using a coffee grinder. It’s a good idea to keep a separate one for coffee and one for spices. Yield: Varies on how much herbs you use
