Herb Butter Burger
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 4 kaiser rolls
- 8 cloves peeled garlic
- 2 oz cooking wine
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1 T shallot
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp canola oil
- lettuce, tomato and onion
DIRECTIONS
- Mix the shallots, herbs Worcestershire sauce, pepper and lemon juice into the butter. Roll the butter mixter in a sheet of wax paper. Refrigerate the butter. In a saute pan, place the oil and garlic cloves. Saute over medium heat for 5-6 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the wine or broth. Slice the butter mixture into medallions and stuff inside of the beef. Form patties and grill them to the desired doneness.
