Great Nanna's Honey Nut Flapjacks
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- Servings: 12
- Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- 160g Honey Nut Cornflakes
- 200g butter
- 100g dark brown soft sugar
- 30g runny honey
- 200g porridge oats
- 75g cranberries (or apricots, or dates, or chocolate chips, or extra nuts, or other dried fruit)
DIRECTIONS
- 1) Preheat oven at 180c or gas mark 4
- 2) Crush cornflakes to the size of porridge oats
- 3) In a pan melt the butter, dark brown soft sugar
- 4) Stir in cornflakes, fruit and porridge oats until combined
- 5) Pour into non-stick baking tin (8 x 12 inch)
- 6) Cook for 20 minutes
- 7) Remove from oven, cut into squares and cool
