Fresh Strawberry Dessert

  • 1 C butter
  • 2 C crushed vanilla wafers
  • 2 C confectionary sugar
  • 3 eggs, room temp.
  • 1 pint sliced strawberries
  • whipped cream
  1. Spread 3/4 of crumbs in 13" pan. Cream butter to consistency of mayonnaise and then add sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each. Spread mixture over crumbs, add strawberries, top with stiffly beaten whipped cream. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and garnish with strawberries. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.
