Cuban Sandwiches
INGREDIENTS
- White Sub Roll (I used a fresh pistole from the Chocolate Maven.)
- Dijon Mustard
- 4 slices of Pork Tenderloin Roast with Spicy Rub, heated prior to assembly
- Thinly sliced Prosciutto
- Emmentaler Swiss Cheese
- Dill Pickle Slices
- Butter
DIRECTIONS
- Assemble sandwiches, and butter both sides of roll.
- In hot saute pan, press sandwich. Then flip, and press again until the bread is crusty and the cheese melty. (I used my iron skillet as a press; I've seen Bobby Flay use a brick.)
- I accompanied my Cuban with oven baked sweet potato fries.
