Crushed Marinara

  • 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 - 1 whole squeezed lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until combined.

RECIPE BACKSTORY
A nice, tangy crushed marina for use with pizza, pasta and meatballs. Use fire-roasted crushed tomatoes if available.
