Creamed new potatoes and peas
  • 8 new potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup canned evap milk
  • 1 10oz pkg frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 4 slices cooked crispy bacon
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbs flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  1. Cut potatoes in half and place in pam sprayed casserole dish. Cook peas according to package and sprinkle over potatoes. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk and can evap milk and cook, stir a lot until thick. Pour sauce over vegatables and stir. Top with bacon and heat in oven for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
