Crazy Chocolate Cake
INGREDIENTS
- Crazy Chocolate Cake:
- 3 C flour
- 2 C sugar
- 2 tsp soda
- 1/3 C cocoa
- 1 tsp salt
- Sift together then add:
- 2 C cold water
- 3/4 C oil
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Chocolate Frosting:
- ½ C oleo
- ½ C Crisco (I use butter flavored)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 - 2 lb bag powdered sugar
- 1/3 - ½ C cocoa
- ½ C milk
DIRECTIONS
- Crazy Chocolate Cake:
- Mix well, pour into greased & floured 9x13 cake pan & bake 35-40 min at 350 degrees.
- DO NOT OVERBAKE.
- Chocolate Frosting:
- Whip, adding the milk a little at a time, until light & fluffy.
- Melt 1/4 - ½ C chocolate chips in microwave with a little margarine (½ tsp) (about 15-20 seconds) until you can stir it smooth, then whip into frosting until well blended.
