Cranberry Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbs milk
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar and butter, beat well.
- Add milk, lemon juice, vanilla and egg; blend well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into sugar mixture and mix well.
- Add cranberries and nuts.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 375F for 8 - 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
- Remove from sheets and let cool.
