Cranberry Apple Crisp

  • 6 c. apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 3 c. cranberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 t. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. butter, sliced and divided
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • Garnish:
  • vanilla ice cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Toss together apple slices, cranberries, sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Spread in a buttered 13"x9" baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with 1/4 cup butter.
  4. Blend remaining butter with flour and brown sugar until crumbly; sprinkle over apple mixture.
  5. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
