Comfort of Home Beef Stew over Israeli Couscous (slow cooker)
  • Cooking Time: 4-5 hrs
  • Servings: 4-6
  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes
  • 2-3 lbs Angus Beef Round cubes
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1 tbs garlic powder
  • 1 tbs onion powder
  • A dash of salt
  • A dash of pepper
  • Bag of mixed vegetables
  • A handful of chopped celery
  • 1 brown gravy
  • 1 jar aus jus gravy
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 lime squeezed
  • Approximately 2 cups of Israeli Couscous
  • A dash of love
  1. Saute chopped garlic and onions in a pan
  2. Next transfer add beef and salute until Brown
  3. Transfer to crock pot and add rest of ingredients
  4. Set crock pot on high for 4-5 hrs
  5. Stir occasionally
  6. When done meat will soft and tender
  7. In mean time cook isreali couscous as per instructions on the box
  8. When meat is done serve over couscous
  9. Watch your husband's mouth drool
Who doesn't like the comfort of home? I know I do. This dish is inspired by the cold wintery weather with the snow falling. It reminds me of snuggling with my husband in front of the fire place.
