Cocoa Fudge
CATEGORIES
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/3 C. Cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 C. Butter
  • 3 C. Sugar
  • 1 1/2 C. Milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and milk; bring to a bubbly boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Reduce to medium heat; boil without stirring to a soft ball.
  3. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.
  4. Do not stir.
  5. Allow fudge to cool to room temperature.
  6. Beat until thickens.
  7. VARIATION: 4 or 5 Tbs. peanut butter may be added if you like peanut butter fudge.

I remember going in Grams house and the amber glass candy dish where she always seemed to have fudge.
