Cinnamon French Toast

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 4 slices bread
  1. Combine the egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a small bowl that is wide enough to fit a slice of bread lying flat.
  2. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. It will be ready for the bread when flicking a few drops of water onto the pan causes a sizzle.
  3. Soak each slice of bread in the egg mixture and then add to the pan. Heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
A quick breakfast favorite for a slow Sunday morning.
