Chocolate-Buttermilk Frosting
INGREDIENTS
- Servings: Covers 1 cake
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- In a saucepan combine the first 3 ingredients and bring to boiling.
- Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour over warm cake.
