Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

- 1 3/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Sift together the confectioners’ sugar and cocoa powder so there are no lumps
- Set aside
- With a handheld or stand mixer with q paddle attachment, beat the butter until creamy
- Gradually add the sifted sugar/cocoa powder alternately with the heavy cream
- Add the vanilla extract
- Once all added, beat until creamy on high speed
