Chocolate Brownies
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cups baking cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, then add the wet ingredients.
  2. Don't use a mixer, still using the wooden spoon, mix until everything is blended (it will be pretty thick). Don't overbeat it though. Spread the mixture into a greased 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for about 25 minutes. Move the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
This is the brownie recipe that I usually use. Family enjoys it.
