Chili-Cheese Fingers

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
DIRECTIONS
  1. Blend cheddar cheese with butter, chili powder and cumin.
  2. Toast 1 side of bread.
  3. Spread with cheese mixture.
  4. Cut each slice into 4 fingers.
  5. Arrange on cookie sheet.
  6. Broil just until golden, watching carefully to avoid burning.
