  • I 1/2 lbs. chicken breasts. skinned and boned
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • I envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 oz. mushrooms. cleaned and sliced
  • I cup sour cream
  • Hot cooked noodles
  1. Slice meat in thin strips. Melt butter over high heat. Add chicken strips mushrooms and cook, stirring until lightly browned. Reduce heat and add water and soup mix. Cover and simmer one hour or until meat is tender. Remove from heat Let cool five-ten minutes and stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles. Makes six servings.
